The Finishing Touch Florist is a local florist that has been serving the Fredericksburg area for over 25 years. We specialize in all things flowers, from weddings to funerals, and everything in between. Our designers are talented professionals who are passionate about what they create.

Not only do we offer fresh cut flowers, but we also have a gift shop that allows us to offer several alternatives or additions to the floral bouquet. From silk arrangements and gift baskets to chocolates, fudge and donuts, we can customize your order to make any occasion special and unique.

Delivery Policy

A delivery fee of $10 and up will be added to each order, for each address. This fee may vary according to the location that your order is being delivered to and/or any special circumstances that your delivery many entail. Floral orders are loaded for delivery, in our delivery vans, by 10:00am and delivered according to location and routing needs. Therefore we can not guarantee a specific delivery time, or window, for deliveries that do not pay for our express/guarantee delivery time. 

Paid Express/Guaranteed timed deliveries are $19.99 additional if delivery is needed by 12:00pm and $9.99 additional if delivery is needed by 3:00pm. It is intended that timed deliveries will be placed by 9:00am on the day of delivery. For timed deliveries with a shorter delivery window of 2 hours or less , please call us for availablity and pricing. Every effort will be made to accomodate special delivery needs such as before 9:00am deliveries, after 4:00pm deliveries, and express short notice deliveries for an additional fee of $19.99 and up. 

We are unable to make deliveries on Sundays. Deliveries requested on this day will be delivered the following business day.


We will be happy to accept your international orders if you call our shop directly. We are unable to accept international orders over the Internet.

Substitution Policy

Occasionally, substitutions may be necessary to create your bouquet due to the availability of certain flowers in various parts of the country. Care is taken to maintain the style, theme and color scheme of the arrangement, using flowers of equal value. Additionally, the substitution of certain keepsake items may be necessary due to increased demand, especially during major holidays. In single-flower arrangements, such as an all rose bouquet, or orchids, we will make every attempt to match the flower type, but may substitute with another color.
